JINPAT LPR pin connection slip rings are developed to replace mercury slip rings. JINPAT LPR slip ring series is a strategic product with large potential. Standard pin connection slip rings are optional in 2, 4, 6 and 8 channels with current capacity up to 25A for each channel. LPR-8H is the slip ring model with the largest diameter, 45mm. In terms of its size and current capacity, pin connection slip rings can match up with those of mercury slip rings in similar specifications. But of course, given the physical contacts of the friction pairs during rotation, pin connection slip rings do not out live mercury slip rings.
JINPAT LPR-2H Pin Connection Slip Ring
As a professional slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT Electronics has rich experience in developing long life slip rings. In the R&D of LPR pin connection slip rings, JINPAT set the goal of extending the life span of the slip ring series. Since pin connection slip ring series adopts enclosed structure, its rated current is relatively high and the working voltage reaches up to 380V, the heat generated during operation is therefore considerable high. Therefore, to extend the product life of the pin connection slip ring, materials with stronger heat resistance must be adopted.
INPAT LPR-6H Pin Connection Slip Ring
To find the suitable materials, JINPAT Electronics use a wide range of material to make slip rings. Through rounds of material tests and comparisons as well as improvement of the inner structure, JINPAT managed to come up with the best solution. The enhanced pin connection slip rings embrace a longer life span, and the cost in controlled. The pin connection slip ring is a good replacement of the mercury slip rings since the former won’t cause burden in cost.
At present, JINPAT LPR-2H and LPR-6H, the two pin connection slip ring models adopt new structure and new materials. In the tests, the two models rotated at the speed of 1000rpm and reached an average life span over 50,000,000 revolutions. Considering various working conditions on the application platforms, the referential life span of the two models is 45,000,000 revolutions. In the pin connection series, LPR-4H AND LPR-8H are still running through test. JINPAT is expected to see the result soon.
