When pipes are blocked, equipment for dredging them is needed. The slip ring, a part of the equipment, also contributes to the dredging process.
A pancake slip ring manufactured by JINPAT has been applied to a kind of multi-functional repairing equipment for sewers. A small dimension of 100 mm OD with 6 mm thickness makes a good feasibility in the installation space of such equipment. Adopting PCB board design, light contact can be made in the material of precious metal or gold to gold. Also, the sewer dredging slip ring integrates AEDR-8501 photoelectric encoder which designs 479 code strips in corresponding tracks. With a precision of ±2°, it can also integrate relative IC component and contact pin socket. For some harsh operating conditions, housing protection is available to keep a reliable performance.
