A new-developed capsule slip ring this week is characterized by its high working speed and high protection grade. It is exclusively designed for the strain gauge and has been used for signal transmission of the equipment.
The principle of strain gauge is to attach the strain foil to the part which is to test its stress-strain relation. And the resistance strain foil is connected to the measuring bridge. When the part is loaded and deformation occurs, there outputs voltage in the bridge and indicates a corresponding strain value with the amplification of an amplifier. The strain gauge slip ring manufactured by JINPAT can transmit 2A current in a voltage of 10VAC/DC. A high rotating speed of the electrical slip ring is achieved up to 1000 rpm, which promotes the performance of the equipment indirectly. Also, the key point lies in its high-speed operation in a wide working temperature of -20~+70℃. To take into account a specific kind of working conditions, a high protection grade of IP67 is accomplished to guarantee a normal operation.
